‘It seems to me we are all in the same boat, having some sort of choice between suffering the negative emotions of our CF or reducing these and working towards positive ones.

Herein lies the beauty of Five Element constitutional acupuncture: more joy and less sadness, more balanced connection to others and less confusion as to whose needs are in the foreground, more connection to our spiritual side and less to our wants, less driven by fear and more by an appropriate sense of courage, and less confusion about how to act and more internal direction.’

‘This is such a personal book. The “I” of John is present throughout, with revealing and often humbling details. John serves as the architect, engineer and teacher who persists as the student. It’s a great model for the reader.’
